Here are all the films that have ever opened bigger than $100 million, along with what they made in week 2, their respective drops and totals:

And...cue the studio spin, courtesy of Fox head of distribution Bruce Snyder:
"The huge decline in the second weekend was typical given how many people saw the movie over the holiday weekend, Snyder said. 'I'm not shocked at that drop,' Snyder said."
He added, under his breath, "I cried like a little infant when I heard about it and realized that my massive, box-office-contingent bonus had been flushed down the toilet faster than Jennifer Aniston's marriage vows, but I wasn't shocked."

LOL!!! Fantastic comment... Hilarious.
If you go a little further down the list (http://www.craigbe.com/newdbs/opennew.asp?year=50000) at the movies that have opened at $90 million or more, you'll see one film with a drop off very similar to X-Men 3: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.
HP3 opened to $93.7 million and dropped 63% to $34.9 million in week two. Still, it ended up with $249.4 million domestically... http://www.craigbe.com/newdbs/MovieQuery.asp?movie=3012
