I think I've posted about The Kingdom three or four times by now, but I can't think of a film I'm more looking forward to over the next few months... Check out the latest and greatest trailer.

Sorry I haven't been posting recently... just haven't been inspired. Here are a few links I've been holding onto for when the moment strikes:
U2's "Bullet the Blue Sky" is such a powerful song, that when applied on top of other forms of media, it needs to be used carefully. Having said that, the new trailer for The Kingdom is quite effective, and this movie can't get here fast enough as far as I'm concerned.
Readers of the blog know what a fan I was of Arrested Development, but its cancellation has clearly opened up Mr. Bateman's itinerary for some more movie work. First, I noticed him in the trailer for Fast Track, along with other TV favs Zach Braff and Amanda Peet.
Then, according to Cinematical, not only does he steal the show in the upcoming Smokin' Aces, he's joining the cast of Tonight, He Comes, which is something about a slacker superhero, starring Will Smith and Charlize Theron. My guess is that might do okay at the box office.
Tonight, He Comes is being directed by Peter Berg, is also directing The Kingdom, starring Bateman, Jeremy Piven, Jennifer Garner, Jamie Foxx, and Chris Cooper, in what looks like CSI: Saudi Arabia. You can check out the trailer on Yahoo.
